What’s The Story: Festival Fields Forever

LESTER MEADOWS WEDDING OPEN DAY

This weekend we were invited to showcase our wedding photography at the very first Lester Meadows wedding open day. Set in the heart of Cheshire, Lester Meadows is a brand new, quirky wedding venue and event space managed by Jo and Stuart on the family run farm.

There’s an amazing story behind their latest venture too. A lost wedding ring while ploughing the vast fields was recently found…forty years later! This miraculous discovery served as the catalyst for the vision of a new future for the four acre meadow.

LESTER MEADOWS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS

Now an ideal venue space for boho, alternative and festival wedding couples, Lester Meadows is open for bookings next year. It really did look great all set up, Jo and Stu did a grand job. The farm outbuildings have great light too, fab for some alternative portraits!

At the open day a fantastic selection of talented suppliers were exhibiting their wares. Plenty to check out including Posh Frocks and Wellies, Aphrodite Events, Samuel James Events, Think Good, Ta Dah Hair and Make Up, Black Eyed Susie and Perfect Bouquet. The super-cool Sunset Yurts and Boho Bar were also looking amazing. It was great to chat wedfest vibes with lots of couples and meet some of the fab folk on show too.

BOHO TIPI WEDDING STYLE

The magnificent Maypole Tipi was our home for the day. We had fun getting cosy by the huge fire pit and our new macramé backdrop most definitely looked the part. Big thanks to Alice’s Vintage Pantry for keeping us all brewed up. We can also vouch for the lovely Little Button Bakery, as they kindly sneaked us a couple of massive slices of wedding cake for the trip home. Mmmm! We wish all the very best to Lester Meadows and look forward to festival weddings galore! Look forward to returning soon.
