Maria + Will’s Outdoor Wedding Dome

An outdoor wedding can come in all shapes and sizes. This beauty was giant dome shaped! Featuring the cutest Fiat 500 wedding car, double-decker bus belly laughs, bouncy castle fun times and lots of ceilidh dancing too. One heck of an unforgettable wedding party!

SPECTACULAR OUTDOOR WEDDING DOME

Maria first found us at a Bridgewater Hall wedding exhibition. A rare wedding fair for us, but sometimes the stars align and these things are just meant to be. We were almost as excited as Maria hearing all about their unique outdoor wedding plans. A contemporary, super-stylish wedfest. Based around an epic Eden-project-style geodesic dome at the epicentre of their wedding field. Complete with ceilidh dancing, hay bales and also bags of geometric wedding style inspiration! Bring it on!

On the lead up, we met Maria and Will for their Manchester pre-wedding shoot. A blustery afternoon but it’s always great exploring the Northern Quarter cool spots. It was fab to hear how the big day was shaping up too. So much fun in store!

ALL ABOARD THE PROSECCO BUS!

Following a beautiful unplugged wedding ceremony, we all jumped on board the ‘Prosecco bus’ (basically our new favourite way to travel)…destination geodome. There were space-hoppers and a white wedding bouncy castle waiting for action. Inflatables are always great for laughs. Especially when mixed with bridesmaids and cocktails.

We always love to see guests enjoying the dancefloor fun. It makes for some awesome shots. A ceilidh band is a guaranteed way to bring the energy to any outdoor wedding and get the party started.

“ABSOLUTELY FAB PHOTOS! REALLY CATCH THE ATMOSPHERE! XX”

It was time soon for Maria and Will to again take centre stage. The first dance, with Elbow’s One Day Like This echoing round the spectacular timber frame geodome structure was pretty special. As the sun broke through the clouds ‘it’s looking like a beautiful day’, indeed!
