Relaxed festival weddings are always great fun. If you hire a bouncy castle, having a laugh and getting involved is an absolute must. So Maria and Will could not wait to kick off their dancing shoes for some gravity-defying good times!

Young girl at a Samlesbury Hall Wedding.

Children at weddings often bring unexpected and humorous moments. As the family gather here for a quick group shot at Samlesbury Hall, one little guest was not so keen to partake! Always ready to keep shooting, we love all these small genuine moments that make a wedding story.

Oddfellows Chester and our featured wedding photos of 2018.

Having two photographers gives us the ability to capture the day from two different viewpoints. While everyone was focussed on Sarah and Gavin during their ceremony, this superman-style departure definitely adds another dimension to the Oddfellows aisle shot.

Hengrave Hall and bridesmaids with umbrellas.

Whilst not actually ironic by definition, ‘rain on your wedding day’ is always a possibility in the UK. The helpful Hengrave Hall crew made sure Dawn and her bridesmaids were armed with brollys to stay dry. The colours, movement and repetition also made for a great, dynamic composition.

Dancing with arms in the air at a wedding at Eleven Didsbury House.

Bangin’ party times are one of our fave parts of a wedding day. Guests of all ages can relax and go wild! We love to capture the energy and fun of the dancefloor. So when the band play your favourite song, like Fran and Michael’s fam at Eleven Didsbury Park, sing-a-long loud if you know the words!

Bridesmaid laughing with boyfriend at Hengrave Hall.

Our wedding photography is documentary style. So finding beautiful natural light and capturing real unposed story-telling moments like this is how we roll.  (This fun Hengrave Hall wedding crew also made our 2018 top nine on Instagram! Wit woo!)

Bride with father laughing before ceremony at Samlesbury Hall.

There are so many small moments that combine to tell a wedding story. Here Katie and her Dad share a laugh arriving at Samlesbury Hall. We love this because the pure excitement captured in the frame always makes us smile.

One of our featured wedding photos of 2018 taken at Holdsworth House in Yorkshire.

After a belly full, wedding speeches can bring out all the feels. But there’s always room for fizz! Guests raise a glass (or two) to toast the happy couple at Holdsworth House. So big cheers Bex and James!

Your Perfect Wedding Photographer – Best of 2018

Bride at Bassmead Manor Barns with peacock feathers.

Oh eye! This shot of Sarah was chosen by YPWP for their ‘Best of 2018’ feature! So thanks guys, you clearly have a keen ‘eye’ for awesome images! (A little thanks goes out to the Bassmead Manor Barns peacocks too.)

Wedding guest dancing at Holdsworth House.

We really love the energy of this image. It transports us straight back to that moment on a jam-packed Holdsworth House dancefloor. Epic stuff! Every wedding needs a ‘tie guy’! We salute you!
