The Place, Manchester – Jennie + Chris’ City Wedding

We love Manchester.  It’s such an amazing place for modern city centre weddings too. Especially the vibrant character and bohemian charm of the Northern Quarter area.  So when Jennie and Chris invited us along to document their super-cool city chic wedding at The Place Aparthotel, we were very excited by their plans.

OUR CONTEMPORARY CREATIVE DOCUMENTARY STYLE 

When Jennie and Chris started the search for their wedding photographers, they had a certain ‘look’ in mind to capture their modern city wedding vibe. They felt inspired by our creative and documentary style. Come rain or shine, there was certainly no way we were going to miss out on the awesome cityscape backdrop for some kick-ass shots with the couple.

MANCHESTER CITY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS

On the big day we met Jennie and the bridal party in the luxury seventh floor penthouse apartment at The Place. With amazing views of the Manchester skyline from the Victorian warehouse rooftop, excitement was building and champagne and jager flowing.

AWARD WINNING WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS

Since their fab day, we have won a Creative Wedding Gold Award with one of Jennie and Chris’ photographs. Plus their wedding book design also received a Merit at the British Institute of British Professional Photography North West Awards 2016.  Find out which photograph here.

Later on in the evening, guests had fun in The Mighty Boof! photobooth. Then there was something pretty special in store for the wedding party. Jennie and Chris surprised everyone with an awesome live set from Bloxed Beats.  Three guys with three mics. The talented trio gave a seriously energetic performance of dance, pop and hip-hop classics using only their mouths as instruments. It happened, you’d better believe it!
