Shireburn Arms – Megan + Gareth’s Wedding

It’s a privilege to document a wedding. But there’s something especially cool about another photographer asking you to shoot their wedding. Because they know what it’s like to be behind the lens. Megan earns her crust as a Clinical Photographer. Finding the perfect photographers for her country pub wedding day was always going to be so much more than a tick off the list. We were so happy that they found us. Since our first meeting with Megan and Gareth (who will always be G-Man to us) we knew all their meticulous planning was going to be well worth it come their special day.

You can check out Megan and Gareth’s Blackpool pre-wedding Me and You Shoot here – a super cute couple. What we lacked in sunshine, we sure made up for in good times, graffiti and giggles.

FUN COUNTRY PUB WEDDING

On the big day we met the bridal party at their wonderful family home near Ramsbottom, Lancashire. It was a hive of nervous excitement. Megan’s Dad had his beautifully restored classic Chrysler car all polished up, ready to be chauffeured for the day. The first stop being St. Philip’s Church in Stubbins.

Megan was wearing a gorgeous Modeca wedding dress from Lulu Browns Bridal. Her envious eye-popping Coco Flamingo heels were by Sophia Webster. The mega British shoe designer even shared one of our photographs which hit over seven-thousand likes on Instagram!  #shoelove

BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD

After the ceremony, we all travelled to the reception at the awesome Shireburn Arms. A proper country pub wedding located in the heart of the Ribble Valley.  There was a pool tournament, music and lots of dancing!

A few words from The Lawless’:

“Our photos arrived today and I wanted to write this whilst the emotions are fresh… Zoe and Liam captured our wedding day so, so perfectly. Looking through them was like a movie and it brought all of the wonderful emotions rushing back. I cannot thank them enough for taking the most perfect photos, they were exactly what we wanted. Thank you guys! xxx”

Both Megan and Gareth looked amazing. One of our photographs was even chosen to receive a Best Wedding Photography Award in the Wedisson Awards seventh collection – an international wedding photography contest. That makes it a rather amazing achievement!  So can you guess which one?
